Well, we've almost pulled the trigger on a brand new 2005 Explorer.  What
are peoples' opinions on their reliability?  I'm forgoing a Honda Pilot,
going with an Explorer due to my towing needs, and I guess, future wants.
The Honda tows 3,500 lbs, or 4,500 if it's a boat. (? I guess ...

1996 AWD V-8 with 150,000 miles. Makes a clicking/crunching noise; can hear
it especially well when coming to a stop and there's no engine noise. I'm
thinking U-joints? Never replaced anything on the front end except shocks
and brakes. Is this a big job? What's it going to cost ...

HI!  Yesterday my right turn signal stopped working.  The light goes on but
does not blink on the "dash board" and the light does not blink or go on in
the front or back on the right side only.  Also, the brake light on the
right does not come on and neither does the center brake ...

I have a 94 EB 4x4 Explorer.  One day I came out after work to find my
doors unlocked.  I KNOW if locked the doors.  I shrugged it off and
did not think anything of it.
Then one day my stock car alarm started to go off.  I quickly disarmed

2002 Explorer XLT   V-8.   The light came on today at 65,970 miles and
stayed on through three starts (only first one was a cold start).  Gas cap
is on ok.   50 miles into a fresh tank of gas from the place I always fill
up.  So what is really up?  How much should I have to pay ...

My Explorer will only start when I give it gas and stalls out as soon as
you take your foot off the gas. What is the problem?

The dash light for the tach has gone out on my 96 Explorer. After pulling
out the three screws above the clear panel, it is not obvious to me what to
do next. How do I get at the cluster to replace the bulbs? Is it a 194 bulb?

Just purchased a 97 Explorer Sport without an owner’s manual.  Other
than getting in and pushing buttons for the cause and effect I am in
the dark.  
What gas mileage do you guys get?  

i have a 98 explorer. & i was wondering if you can tell me why the
clock, & radio lite dims & then goes out after i drive  for about 10 er
15 min,,,,,

2002 Ex. 4.6.  Service engine soon lite came on at 35675 miles. I have done
all warranty maint. already. What should I check for now?  How do I cancel
this light?

Sorry to revisit this subject because I believe I recall reading earlier
posts about the difficulty in doing such a mundane thing.
Now it is time for me to do this to my 1999 SOHC 4.0 XLT (2WD).  When I
looked under the hood, I could see that it wasn't going to be straight

I'd appreciate it if someone had a link showing me what this bulletin is.  I
think it applies to my 94 ltd.  Thanks.  Also, can us plebians look up TSBs
on our own?

Yesterday I was asigned an '01 Expedition that has the keyless entry.  Of
course, no one knows the code and I was unable to locate the computer to
find the original code.  Can someone tell me where they have hidden the
computer on this particular model?  TIA.

I was stuck in some mud after the storm and had to be towed out. It drove
fine and then I left it for a few days. When I got back, it started fine
with no problems, but has no reverse gear. It'll shift into nutral and
drive, but no reverse... Anyone with some ideas?

Okay, so I get pulled over by a cop, who happens to be a buddy of mine.
He tells me my cyclops/ centre brake light above the tailgate is out.
I've looked all around and can't figure out how to fix this anyone have
any idea?
