Yeah, I wasn't too good at the do it yourself soldering either. I guess I
should have left it to the pros. I went ahead and did the "Save My
Sanity" swap at www.shareamemory.com/radio and was able to fix my radio
without shipping it off and using only a philips screw driver to ...

I have a 1991 Explorer XLT w/183,000 miles on it. My problem is when I start
her up.She makes a high pitched squeal that is sort of rythmic. I can tell
it is from the belt or the bearings. It stops after the engine is good and

When I turn off the ignition, the antenna does not automatically go down as
it is supposed to. The antenna motor runs, but the antenna stays up unless
I get out and tap on the top of it, and then it retracts and the motor
