all good, the controls on the steering wheel check, power, everything.
Still, it won't work. Ironically, the only thing that I did was leave it
parked for 2 weeks while I was in Regina for a horse show, ...
'05 slow throttle30 Sep 2005 04:54 GMT1
Just wondering if anyone else has the same experience.  It seems like the
throttle response on our new Explorer is a little slow.  My wife (the
primary driver) noticed after we first bought it that it behaves kind of
weird when you come up to a light and it turns green, so you ...

They are notorious for cracking in cold weather and there is "silent"

1994 Explorer XLT driver's window stuck in down position.  Fuse ok.  All

looking for anything that might cause this problem.  Window motor does not
make noise or attempt to move glass.  Switch seems ok.  ...

More chain tensioners27 Sep 2005 12:02 GMT3
Well i have just taken on a 1998 Explorer, 65000mls, at a good price as
it comes with a slight growl to the front timing chain when starting

At my last servicing (30k) for a 2003 XLT AWD my local (and honest) repair shop
recommended something called an "Induction Service" using various BG products.
Has anyone ever had this service and did it in any way shape or form improve
your milage or is this one of those ...

Rear End Whine Saga Continues ...Jim?26 Sep 2005 23:55 GMT4
I have been through multiple rear end fixes for my 04 Explorer.
Finally they installed the "latest and greatest" as they put it that is
supposed to fix it once and for all - but it didn't.
So I took it back in and they told me " No whine".

A friend has lost her ignition key for her 1990 Ford F150 (300cu. in. std.

I have a 97 Explorer with the JBL soundsystem. While driving home own
