My Ford Explorer squeaks when I drive it, and I tried to find the ball
joints to grease up, but found out that there isn't any. So my question is
how do I grease it up so that the suspension doesn't squeak?

I have a '98 V-6 XLT Explorer. It is running kinda rough. I'm not a
mechanic, but what can I do in terms of a simple tune up? If I change
the plugs, what kind should I get? Are they pre-gapped? Should I get
them from the dealer?  What other simple things can I do ?

hey i have a 94 explorer and the 4wd doesn't work,the light goes on in the
dash but it doesn't work.is this a common problem?

I have 96 Explorer 4.0L 4wd Control Trac. I removed the transfer case
drain pug and I noticed something like teflon paste on the threads. The
Chiltons manual doesn't mention anything like it in the drain/refill
procedure. Do I need to be concerned with this? tia

I have a JBL sound system in a 95 Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition.  The FM
works part of the time.  This is a AM/FM Cassette with out CD.  The am
works and the cassette works. The FM will scan to pick up radio stations

I have a 116,000-mile 94 Explorer with the 4.0 V-6 engine that suddenly
started to show high oil pressure. I replaced the sending unit but it
still reads max pressure. The engine sounds normal (quiet, no miss),
and I'm wondering if I have worn insulation to the wire to the oil

I am thinking of buying and installing a class II trailer hitch on my
94 Ford Explorer 4dr 4x4.  Manufacturers say drilling is involved on
91-94 models.  Anyone know what drilling is involved and how hard it is

Has anyone installed Sirius Radio in their Explorer using the factory
Sirius "ready" radio. My dealer wants $650 to install the unit, and I

Does anyone have the average cost and time consumption for this transfer. I
have the electric changeover now and would like to get rid of it before
winter hits here in VA. Also a list of parts would be helpful. Everything is

My 98 explorer has almost 100k miles and is going in to the dealership for a
recall part install. Since it is going in anyways I asked how much it would
cost to replace the plugs and wires, the service advisor said $470.00. He
must have heard it in my voice that I would do it ...

i have a 1992 Ford Aerostar 4.0 and i can`t get it out of park!! i can
put it into reverse by crawling under the van and pulling on the linkage
but not into drive... i have been told it may have a lock-out switch on
the brake pedal that locks it into park if your tail lights ...
