I am looking to buy a rebuilt or crated 4.0L SOHC for my 1997 Explorer.
Perfer Ontario but will consider others.  Must be complete.

I had my engine oil changed and checked it about a week later and it was
2-3 inches over fill line.  I took it back and had them drain the excess.
I checked it again today and it is about 6-8 inches over and seem a little

I just bought a '97 Exploder from a dealer and it didn't come with remotes
to unlock the doors.  It has cruise control and power windows and door locks
and such so I suspect it may have it in there somewhere, but where do I

Looked at their website and found a turbocharger for my Ford 4.0 SOHC Sport
Trac. Anythoughts of comments if this is a good idea? Comments and

I have a 94 Explorer with 248K miles and at the end of my rope.
After warm up only, it misses and backfires around and above 4000 rpm.
I have replaced the following (in this order) in an attempt to correct
it and am now broke. I lost the "let's replace this sensor game".

I have a 93 top loaded trans with no thied gear all other gears are fine but
third is an open hole is it possible that I may hve lost a pin holding a
fork or sonething like that?? One day I shifted into third and nothing was
there! I dont think its the gears as there was no warning ...

did it just fine, but without actually measuring, it looked to me like the
newer openings were narrower.  In the `94 the panels rested on the wheel

my truck is having electrical problems.
i think i have tracked it down to the positive terminal that runs from the
battry.  this terminal has three leads, 2 are 4 guage one runs to the
solinoid and the other to the starter, the 12 guage wire runs from the

We recently put on a new cellnoid (SP?) and alternator and new battery and
now when it starts up it grinds and we are unable to find the cause. Any
