I don't have a trailer hitch. However I want to install just a
ball to my rear bumper and haul a light trailer for small plants,
small lumber etc. What max weight can I haul in this setup?

Anybody got a guess on why a 99 4.0 OHV would reguarly throw a P0171
code first, then eventually add a P0174?  I've cleaned the MAF, checked
for vacuum leaks, etc. I haven't tried replacing the intake manifold
gaskets yet. I haven't had the time. I do have a hookup and the

Explorer was driving okay when I dropped off my son at a friends, put the
truck in reverse, backed up then put it into drive, nothing happend.
I have changed the tranny fluid and filter but still nothing.
Anyone have any ideas?

What is the best way to change oil without flooding the garage floor?
Removing the filter seems to be a minor mess, but removing the drain plug
results in a spray that bounces off the frame and makes a hell of a mess.
Any ideas on how to actually get it into the drain pan, short ...

I have a problem with my 95 Ford Explorer.  I can drive anywhere, but once
I stop the car, and try to restart it it will not start.  If if pour water
in to the engine, the car starts.  I have changed the fuel pump recently,
but I still have the same problem.  Someone please help!!!

I have some power mirror problems on my '91 and '97 Explorers.  Does anyone
know how to take them apart?  It is not obvious to me and I have not been
able to find any instrucitons anywhere.

I just took my new-to-me '94 Explorer on its first backroad trip. It
did GREAT! Gravel roads, fording a foot-deep stream, a steep, muddy,
rutted road- it handled it all. This is just what I wanted.
