CD Error for in-dash cd changer15 Mar 2006 20:11 GMT3
I bought a Ford In-Dash 6 DISC CD changer for my 2000 Explorer sport.
Everything seemed to work fine except... the CD player says "slots
full" . Well there are no CD's in the
player and if you try and eject it shows "initializing" on the display

Hello and thanks in advance for your help.  I have a 99 mountaineer
with climate control (just dial in the number and on Auto the
fan/cooling/heating control the temperature in the cockpit).  It also
has controls for the temp and fan on the steering wheel.  I went up

Recently when I turn a corner, the car continues to pull in that
direction.  It may pull a mile, or even 5. Eventually it quits pulling.
If I turn another corner in the other direction, it pulls that way.
Strong pull.  I suspect it is whatever makes it come back to center

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT that makes a whistleing noise when the
vehicle goes to shift at about 2K rpm.  I took it to the dealer and
they couldn't find anything even though the Service Manager admitted

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4WD V6 in the UK, and have covered
36K miles.
A few weeks ago I noticed while driving that both the 4wd Hi and 4wd Lo
dash indicators flashed on at the same time. They flashed 1 second on 1

Just read a review of the 2006 Explorer with the new V8(this is the
engine previously used in the Lincoln Aviator).  The testers (Car and
Driver magazine) praised the new engine but commented that Ford has

I bought a Sony CD player for my 1996 Ford Explorer and I don't  know how the
radio harness connects to the existing wires. Does anyone know where I can
find a diagram that will help me?

Hi all.  My manual was stolen out of my car a while back and I haven't

I have removed skid plate and dropped the gas tank now I am unable to
remove the gas lines. The tool I was told to use is to large to fit,
but any other tool wont go in far enough. Anybody have any tricks??? I

I have a 1998 Explorer Sport,  2 wheel drive with auto transmission.
The problem is a clunking noise that is heard after the trans shifts
to second gear. Seems that the transmission shifts smooth into 2nd
but a couple of seconds or so after it shifts it makes a klunking
