Where are the ground straps?
I have a 99 Explorer Sport V6.  
Recently I found the braid ground strap from the frame to the
body,  nearest the drivers door jamb had rotted out.

Thanks for stopping by my post.
I'm having a problem with the heater on my 97 XLT.  All controls operate as
normal, except for the temperature knob.  Regardless of where I turn it I
only get HOT air blowing.  All fan speeds and airflow positions work just

'98 Explorer SOHC 4X4 AT.
Had the camshaft guide replaced at 58K. Now on 82K and looks like the noise
is back. I can hear it (sound a bit like the engine is pinging) when above
2000 RPM and light load.

I have an 2002 XLT with manual AC controls.
The MAX position on the right hand control does nothing. It used to
speed up the fan, etc. All the other settings on this switch work as
they should.
