I have a 1996 Explorer XLT with what I'm calling a "supplemental" alarm system installed. It almost looks like an aftermarket install, but as far as I can tell it's a Ford alarm, since the remote has the FORD emblem on it. The remote has 2 buttons: ARM and DISARM. There's also

My 98 Explorer SOHC A/C stopped working late last summer and the dealer indicated that the accumulator (drier) was seeping and had some rust issues (blend door is OK). They recommended replacing it and the pressure cycling switch but wanted over $500. I decided to wait till ...

I've got a '98 Ford Explorer Sport with the 4L SOHC V6 engine. Unfortunately, it's starting getting very sluggish when trying to start. One time it took me several minutes and several tries to get it to finally start. I don't believe it's the starter or the battery since

I'm hoping somebody has seen this before. I was performing a 60K mile service on my 2002 4.6L Expedition automatic transmission-fluid, filter and gasket. The transmission is a 4R70W, which I believe is also used with the Explorer 4.6L V8, which is why I'm posting to this group. When
