Help, the steering wheel is locked up. Read the book, page 146 -
Brake-shift interlock. "If it is necessary to use the above procedure
to move the gearshift lever,it is possible that a fuse has blown or the
vehicle's brakelamps are not operating properly. Refer to Fuses and
98 explorer 5.0 whinning06 May 2006 01:18 GMT3
I have a 98 explorer, 5.0, auto and 105,000 miles that has started to
"whine" when I accelerate or slow down. I cannot tell exactly where it is,
so it could be from the transmission to the rear end, any ideas or
suggestions?
Explorer Belt Noise06 May 2006 01:11 GMT3
I have a 1998 Ford Explorer. When the engine is idling, the engine area
eventually starts to produce a load droning sound, perhaps from a belt.
It has seemed to have started up since the weather started getting
warmer (central florida). I have had this in the past. I mentioned it

When the engine is hot, excess coolant transfers to the coolant
recovery tank.

radiator.
Heater stuck on06 May 2006 00:38 GMT6
I have a 97 explorer which is in great shape, except all of a sudden the
heat is always on.  Even if I put it on air, I still get heat.  Max-air only
tempers the hot air some.  Rumor has it, this may be expensive to fix.
Is there an easy and cheap way to repair this?

Every so often (6-8 months) the rear wiper on my 99 Explorer stops
working. I can hear the relay going in the back and I can also what
