| Cargo cover '94 XL | 31 Jul 2006 02:38 GMT | 9 |
I have the base model 1994 Explorer. I would like to add a cargo cover, but I don't see how it would connect to the back seat. I see the slots in the rear where it would connect, but not in the front. Perhaps the base model seat doesn't have slots for the cargo cover?

| motor swap question | 31 Jul 2006 01:12 GMT | 2 |
I have a 99' ford explorer with a 4.0 v6, how hard is it to swap the motor out for a v8, found a local one at a junkyard (it's a 98 with 65,000 on it). Do I need a different tranny, radiator, exhaust, etc?

| 1996 EB 150,000 miles. Whats going to go? | 30 Jul 2006 08:25 GMT | 3 |
It's been good all these miles with normal sevice. No major repairs except the blend door. I'm just wondering what to expect and what preemptive service I should do to avoid costly on the road repairs. Fuel pump? Timing belt/chain? Any suggestions. Thanks.

| Rear Window Replacement | 23 Jul 2006 22:59 GMT | 3 |
I made a stupid mistake today, and failed to close the back upper window/door on my 2000 Explorer before I backed out of the garage. It hit part of the garage door and shattered. Ford quotes about $650, parts and labor, to replace it.

I've got a 2002 Explorer with the 4.6l V8, auto trans, and 4x4. I use it to tow a 4000 lb boat through mountain highways. Since new I've had trouble getting smooth downshifts when towing up hills. If, anticipating an upcoming hill, I ease on the throttle

My 98 is in need of new tires, the last two sets I put on were Michilin XLT's. Just not wanting to be blind is there a online source that rates the different brands or is there a concensus on a brand and type.
