My remote when activated will open all the doors except for the drivers

try to unlock the door with my key I still can not open the door
because the key will not turn.  The only way to open the door is by
2002 Explorer - what is this switch?20 Sep 2006 22:43 GMT1
Go to your trusty '02 and open the hood.  Over on the outside edge of
the passenger's side of the engine compartment, between the air cleaner
and the coolant expansion tank, is a switch.  It is in a rubber
bellows/boot, and it is activated (pressed) when the hood is closed.

How does one tighten the rearview mirror on a 97 Explorer Eddie Bauer

solid and is not the problem.  The problem is that the mirror is not tight
on this mount.  There doesn't appear to be any set screw.  ...

Battery drain .24 amps from GEM14 Sep 2006 01:04 GMT8
My 98 Explorer Limited battery dies if I don't drive it for 7 to 10

at a couple of auto parts stores and they said both are good. We did notice
an amp draw of 2 amps with the vehicle off and a spikes up ...

came up the other day...and I have never changed one in my life!?  Do I even
have one?, and if so, where the heck is it?  A REAL quick check of the
owners manual didn't help.
air conditioner question13 Sep 2006 12:52 GMT1
I have Auto Temp Control in my 2000 LTD.
Is it normal, when temp is set to 'Automatic', for some air to come out of
floor vent?  When AC is blowing cool air, it tends to cool your feet,
especially when wearing sandals.
Popped Hatch Hinges13 Sep 2006 04:07 GMT3
Yesterday, while taking a preteen charge home from school, I allowed
him to open the glass rear window to retreive his backpack. His
enthusiasm in closing the hatch blew the window back open; the
