On the rear of my vehicle is the license plate.  The license
plate has 2 bulbs that shine on it...one on the right and one on the
left.  The assembly stays in place an whenever you need to change the
bulb one pulls the bulb assembly out the back and replaces the bulb

From time to time, I cannot eject a CD from the CD player and the
message "EJ ERR" displays.  This has happened 2-3 times since I bought
the vehicle in May '06 and each time the CD ejected a while later or

Tire Pressure Sensor Warnings09 Oct 2006 22:18 GMT6
I've got an '05 Explorer with about 13k miles. The tire pressure sensor
warning is about to drive me crazy. The dealer has replaced all 4 sensors
under warranty, with no relief. We've compared tire gauges, with mine about
3psi below his. He's telling me I'm not keeping them ...

I'm working on my winter beater and plan to do a coolant flush and change
the thermostat.  I'm hoping this will correct the slow warmups I recall from
last winter.
At a quick glance, getting to the thermostat looks more difficult than on

R&R radio procedures for 2001 explorer?07 Oct 2006 02:45 GMT1
I get a terrible lot of noise in my radio so I purchased a Noise
Suppressor from J.C. Whitney and now have to figure out how to install
it. I need to access the radio wiring. Can't quite figure out the most
logical way of doing it and don't want to just blindly begin tearing

Location of '96 "door open" switch?04 Oct 2006 04:03 GMT1
My '96 XLT usually fails to illuminate the dome lights and the "headlights
on when ignition off" buzzer when I open the driver's door but works for the
other doors. I imagine the problem is a sticky "door open" switch or
possibly frayed wires to the switch. Any other thoughts? ...
Stuck in 4x4 High and 4x4 Low04 Oct 2006 03:57 GMT1
On starting my 2002 XLT recently, both the 4x4 High and 4x4 Low
indicator lights stayed on solid.  When I started to slowly drive away,
it was obviously in 4x4 Low mode and the drivetrain was making loud
clunks even when going in a straight line.  I stopped and did
Why no 2006 Sport Trac?01 Oct 2006 03:17 GMT1
We`re trying to make a decision on a new /newer vehicle. The question that
keeps popping up is why there was no 2006 Sport Tracs? One of our options is
a 2005 Sport Trac vrs a 2007 Ridgeline saving us over $10,000. Was there a
problem with the 05`s? Any opinions?
