| Location of '96 "door open" switch? | 04 Oct 2006 04:03 GMT | 1 |
My '96 XLT usually fails to illuminate the dome lights and the "headlights on when ignition off" buzzer when I open the driver's door but works for the other doors. I imagine the problem is a sticky "door open" switch or possibly frayed wires to the switch. Any other thoughts? ...

On starting my 2002 XLT recently, both the 4x4 High and 4x4 Low indicator lights stayed on solid. When I started to slowly drive away, it was obviously in 4x4 Low mode and the drivetrain was making loud clunks even when going in a straight line. I stopped and did
