Brakes not releasing20 Dec 2006 05:14 GMT3
The front brakes on my 93 Explorer are not releasing once I activate
them.  I also believe that the wheel bearings are going out.  Is there
a way to fix the brake calipers without having to replace them and has
anyone else encountered this problem?
96 Explorer broken tailgate handle20 Dec 2006 04:39 GMT2
A tail light went out on my 96 explorer. When I tried to open the
tailgate, the handle broke.  How can I get the tailgate open to
fix/replace the handle and change the bulb.
Local police don't like me driving around without tail lights.
Headlight opinions18 Dec 2006 16:17 GMT1
I have a 96 EB AWD V8 with 242K miles on it.  The headlights are starting to
take on that yellowed appearance.
Has anyone else tried any of the aftermarket OEM replacements, or the
"Diamond cut lenses"?

Clutch life prediction?14 Dec 2006 14:35 GMT4
For those of you who have or had a manual Explorer, what kind of like did
you get out of the clutch. Per my other recent posts here, I've just brought
my XLT tot he dealer for a clutch pedal problem. And the dealer is
suggesting that now - 85,000 miles - is a reasonable time to do ...
Repair shop rate13 Dec 2006 23:05 GMT5
Per my earlier post (Clutch issue 92), I've decided, as advised, to have the
clutch fluid replaced. A Ford dealer says they can do this and test the
system at the same time. The dealer has a $90/hour rate. That seems a bit
high (northern Westchester, NY) Just wondering what rates ...

another source (on-line or otherwise) for a
genuine OEM or aftermarket replacement?  I use them frequently and need
2003 EXPLORER REAR END NOISE11 Dec 2006 22:13 GMT5
My explorer has 80,000 and recently I have notice a low pitched noise from
the rear of the truck. It varies with speed and it's not very loud. It may
be a wheel bearing or something else. Anyone else had a similar problem? How
do you find if there has been a service notice or ...

98' Mazda B4000 RWD 5spd HARD to shift into 1st from stop08 Dec 2006 20:18 GMT5
No grinding just hard to get into gear with clutch all the way down.
While at a stop, effort is less if you go from 2nd to 1st gear then let
out the clutch. My syncros ? Trans oil and rear diff oil have recently
been changed and there is no difference.
