| Brakes not releasing | 20 Dec 2006 05:14 GMT | 3 |
The front brakes on my 93 Explorer are not releasing once I activate them. I also believe that the wheel bearings are going out. Is there a way to fix the brake calipers without having to replace them and has anyone else encountered this problem?

| 96 Explorer broken tailgate handle | 20 Dec 2006 04:39 GMT | 2 |
A tail light went out on my 96 explorer. When I tried to open the tailgate, the handle broke. How can I get the tailgate open to fix/replace the handle and change the bulb. Local police don't like me driving around without tail lights.

I have a 96 EB AWD V8 with 242K miles on it. The headlights are starting to take on that yellowed appearance. Has anyone else tried any of the aftermarket OEM replacements, or the "Diamond cut lenses"?

| Repair shop rate | 13 Dec 2006 23:05 GMT | 5 |
Per my earlier post (Clutch issue 92), I've decided, as advised, to have the clutch fluid replaced. A Ford dealer says they can do this and test the system at the same time. The dealer has a $90/hour rate. That seems a bit high (northern Westchester, NY) Just wondering what rates ...

| 98' Mazda B4000 RWD 5spd HARD to shift into 1st from stop | 08 Dec 2006 20:18 GMT | 5 |
No grinding just hard to get into gear with clutch all the way down. While at a stop, effort is less if you go from 2nd to 1st gear then let out the clutch. My syncros ? Trans oil and rear diff oil have recently been changed and there is no difference.
