99' Explorer Limited  V8
A few days ago I was impatient and got on it really hard. It started
missing as I let off. When warm at idle there is an occasional miss but,

Went to put my 2001 ranger in 4wd last night & nothing happened, not
even the dash light. I checked the fuse in the dash but that's not the
problem. any ideas?

I found an earlier post (2004) on this topic but no clear solution.
Any ideas on why my auto trans won't downshift to 1st gear when
manually placed into 1st gear?  It will limit itself to first gear

The leather has badly disintegrated over time. Anyone know if it's just the
standard plastic wheel underneath? Thanks!

seems this happens every few years, but I can't remember how I fixed it last
time.  Not a motor issue.  More like a switch/replay/dirty contact issue or
"something needs to reset" issue

I am trying to find a piece to bridge the gap between the rear door on
my 2000 ford explorer and the rear window cause everytime I turn on my
rear wiper, it gets stuck between the two.  I already burned up my

Whenever I start my 2000 Ford Explorer the RPMs start at 1000 and drop
down to 500.  Sometimes its starts for a second then dies all
together.  Then there are other times where it starts fine and holds
RPMs, but when I am halfway to my destination, the RPMs will drop back

After doing more testing I noticed a tiny amount of liquid when I removed

my brake line leaked brake fluid onto a brake pad over the course of a few
days.  Brake line is fixed, *but* should the pad always be questioned after
coming in contact with brake fluid????

I am thinking of buying an extended warranty for my '05 and want to
hear the group's recommendations on where to buy.  Is the Ford dealer
