I have a strange issue. I've asked around home and nobody knows what to do.
I have a 91 explorer xtl 4 l. w/about 100k miles on it. It was starting fine
til I went to leave for work one morning. I tried starting it, heard one
click form the starter then lost power from the battery ...

When I turn my key to On but do not start the engine I hear the fule pump
running.
Is this normal, or should it shut off after a while?

The driver's seat belt in my '94 has lately become hard to pull out and
it is slow to retract back in the retractor.  I suppose I should replace
it but being the cheapskate I am thought I'd ask if maybe I could squirt
some WD 40 in it or something to fix it. Thanks.

My 1995 EB has been hard to start for a few months, especially when it is
cold in the mornings, but it always has started.  After it sat for a week
without running, it will not start.
The fuel filter was old so I replaced that and verified that it is getting

Without any warning the hood latch cable  on  my 1992 Explorer broke or
disenaged from the latch. There is no resistance when pulling the release
handle.
How can the hood be opened?

I'm going to remove the spare tire ( hope to ! ), but everything looks rusty
