Coolent leak31 May 2007 17:28 GMT2

noticed a large coolent leak. After some investigation it apprears
that the fluid is coming from a bolt on the under side of the engine.
Any idea what this may be?
How do you replace a seat belt in a '93 Explorer Sport?31 May 2007 17:25 GMT2
Went to put my seat belt on today in my '93 Explorer Sport and it snapped
completely away from where it is anchored down at the floor.  Any
suggestions on how to fix it?  It became undone where it was sewn and
attached to the bracket on the floor.
96 Explorer won't start no fuel30 May 2007 14:37 GMT2
It ran yesterday, today it just cranks. Fuel pump relay clicks when
key on so I assume it is good, fuel pump fuse is good. I pressed the
fuel pressure diagnostic port open while cranking, no fuel came out.
Must not be fuel pressure but why?
Noisy Front End29 May 2007 21:43 GMT6
For the collective -- '99 XLT 4.0 with about 150k miles.
Within the last few weeks, a roaring noise has developed in the front
end.  I have Googled quite a bit, and can eliminate a few things that
are probably not causing it.
1999 Explorer Limited - Improving Fuel Economy29 May 2007 00:20 GMT2
I just bought a 1999 Explorer Limited, with 105,000 miles.  It's an AWD with
the 5.0L V8.
So far, it looks like 15-17mpg is the best I'll be able to get, even when
driving very carefully.  There are a few things I would like to try and I'm
"Clunk", my hub?28 May 2007 23:41 GMT10
I'm driving a '97 Explorer. When driving up a slight rise at 40+, I'm
hearing a "clunk" from underneath. Can occur several times climbing
the hill. Like one rotating piece of metal catching up with another.
Brought it to a mechanic to diagnosis the problem and he said it was
96 Explorer automatic temp control problem28 May 2007 09:26 GMT1
I have a 96 Explorer XLT 5.0 with all the extras. I have since I've
owned it always had the nagging "non adjustment" of the air
temperature by which I solved by zip tieing the hearter control valve
in the summer for cold air and releasing it in the winter for warm
Heaver Control Valve Vacuum Hose -95 Ford Explorer28 May 2007 09:22 GMT1
Hello Folks!  It has been a while since I have posted on the board.  I
still have my 95 Explorer with 227,000 miles.
Not sure if any of the same people are on from years back.
My problem related to the heater control valve where the 4 heater
98 Explorer Radiator -Help28 May 2007 05:27 GMT3
I'm trying to remove the radiator on a 98 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer
V8. I searched the forum and found a few articles from 2005 that
touched on this subject, but there were a few details left out that i
hoped someone could fill in for me. I've removed the hoses,
96 Explorer cruse control buttons replacement?28 May 2007 05:24 GMT3
96 Explorer XLT steering wheel mounted cruse control buttons cover with
"on" "off" "coast" "resume" etc lettering is cracking and falling apart.
This is just the soft plastic cover, the actual pushbuttons and lights
underneath are fine.
Oil Change Reminder Message26 May 2007 17:09 GMT2
I had my oil changed by my regular mechanic. He didn't reset the "Oil Change
Reminder" message, so now when I start up my explorer, the message center is
telling me that I will need to change the oil soon. The mechanic says he
will reset it, but I wondered if this is something I ...
gear/shift indicator out of position26 May 2007 15:44 GMT7
I'm not sure what happened, but the gear indicator on my instrument
panel has gotten off by one position.  Is this a common problem?  All
the gears work as they should so there isn't anything wrong with the
transmission.  I'll probably take the instrument cluster out to see if
Console repairs22 May 2007 09:03 GMT7
I remember reading on this group about someone that has a repair for a
Explorer console.  I am unable to remember who or what.  Could someone
please refresh my memory.
Thanks,
1994 Eddie Bauer Explorer remote door19 May 2007 22:40 GMT1
We have had a 1994 EB in the family for 11 years and always used keys to
open the doors.
Having just got round to reading the manual, I think it should have remotes.
Can anyone confirm this and if so how do I get them.
2000 explorer XLT - keeps going into rough idle mode17 May 2007 16:07 GMT2
A few days ago in my 2000 XLT, I noticed my tach was jumping around
while on the highway at around 65 MPH. The engine wasn't surging so I
didn't think too much of it. The following morning about a half hour
into my morning drive I lost all acceration. I was able to get the
