The car is a US version, 6 cyl., auto, 182,000 miles. Sometimes the wipers will continue to operate long after being shut off. On occasion, they even turn themselves on the next time I start the car! Wipers act normally from time to time, but not often enough!

Looking for some ideas. Recently my Ford Explorer started overheating. It's a 99 4.0L SOHC with 120,000 miles. Once it cooled down I checked the coolant and it looks a nice green although the overflow tank was blackish. I started the cold vehicle up without the

The airconditioner on my XLT just isn't giving very much cold air. The compressor goes on for about 2 seconds, then goes off, and then a few seconds later goes on again for about 2 seconds. What could the problem be? I just had the belt tensioner replaced -- could that have ...

I just bought a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT, and have looked through the owner's manual to see how you can tell if the Auto 4x4 is engaged. 4x4 high and low have indicator lights on the dash, but the auto 4x4 button doesn't seem to have an indicator.
