I am having some problems with my ford explorer. It is a 1999 and I just bought it from someone. When I push on the brakes, my parking lights come on. Doesn't matter if it is running or off or whatever. Also my cruise control works fine-until i turn my headlights on.

I bought a 2002 explorer xlt and the rear a/c works but there is a knocking sound ( ~78 knocks/minute regardless of rear fan speed) coming from the rear driver side. I started taking the rear interior panels off, I got to the rear air conditioner and still couldn't pin-point it.
