I'd like to know both the conventional wisdom about, and the common practices you guys use, starting your Explorer after it has been sitting outside all night in 40-60 degree temps. Some of my friends start it and drive away immediately.

124,000 miles.. The tranny slips when cold but OK when it warms up.. Also need to know if there is a vacuum line that controls it? Thanks

I have a 96 explorer 4.0 ohv with the check engine light on. A scan indicates code 401, insufficient flow detected. Mechanic replaced egr valve and cleared the code. CEL came pack on, code 401. I replaced the DPFE sensor and both hoses. Blew through both hoses to make sure there
