Iam getting intermittent shudder thru the steering column when I apply the
brakes.
Its intermittent and doesnt always occur,but is really bad on a downhill
application of the brakes.

I have a 1961 Ford Falcon, the engine is not original (I think).  It is a
Ford 289 V8.
Where on the block would I find the engine identification or serial number.

Ford XY, very original, 6 cyl, 250. I want the wipers to go every few
seconds for when it just spots with rain... I have a later model ford
electric windscreen washer bottle already so I don't mind another step
towards modernity ... Anyone know of a kit or a simple ciruit I can use

It's been six months since I received my car. It is as above and also has
sports suspension, LSD and 17" wheel & tyre combo. And altough generally
better than my AU Forte, it has displayed more problems in the first 6
months than the AU had in four years. Problems noted as follows:

I am concerned about what looks like an oil leak from the top-rear of
the automatic transmission on my 2001 AUII Falcon. Car has done
80,000km and still under warranty.
Ford have suggested the transmission oil has either overheated or lost

Hi the workshop manual I have here does not say how to remove the rear
brake discs.
ive removed the caliper (not much help from the manual here either), and
 removed the big screw in the middle of the disc it said to remove, but

Well, after 6018km my car has "finally" needed to go in to get its first
warranty job.
This is the XR6 not the Mazda2 of course...
The throttle switch and position sensor need replacement.  Had it done

you need LPG oil for a car running on LPG.

Hi;
     Is there a knack to bend masonite to the curves on the door panels on
a escort. The old is cracked and rotten, but it is masonite that is curved
and slides in under the triangular window and also holds the window in

Just a question, is it possible to fit a V6 holden or toyota engine into a
1300 4 door escort, or the old capri V6  tho is very hard to track one down.
