is it possible to do a swap taking the differential out of a 88 model EA
wagon and putting it in a 90 model EA sedan?
what about the diff centre?
I think the pinion in the sedan is screwed cos its making a noise when I

Hi my falcon has LPG and it emits blue smoke from the exhaust when you
start the engine after its been turned off for a while.

The standard tyres "Goodyear" on our AUIII are really giving me the sh.ts.
The noise from the fron wheels is dreadful!
Has anyone found a nice quiet tyre for these cars?

The process of elimination only works if the part you replace does not also
have a fault,.....duh!!
The replacement clapper starter which was supposed to be a recon also had a

running smooth and clean for a $100 thought i couldn't go wrong so snapped
it up. Problem now is had to borrow a dizzy to hear it running and now can't

the problem i have is that my car (88 EA Ford Falcon) runs rough when i
start it after i have left it standing for about 8 or more hours.
I can start it but for about 10 mins below 2000 to 2500 rpm it runs really
rough however once i hit/pass the 2000 to 2500 mark it runs fine until ...

Hit aircon button on EBII today (1st time used since March) and blue light
comes on but compressor is not kicking in.
Had system re-gassed last summer and had been working fine.
Any  ideas on what to look for or should I take it to aircon specialist?

Yesterday, I took the AUIII XLS ute for a long road trip. It has just had
its 12 month service.
Overtaking on a section of smooth asphalt road I took it up to 140+ and got
this sound like a warning buzzer, or so I thought.

They checked it out and replaced the climate control harness under warranty.

hi, is the handbrake one of those pull out from the dash into your knees?
or is it one of the little ones on the centre console near the seat and
gearbox?
