Coolant Temp Warning Light31 May 2004 10:11 GMT3
It's happened a few times now, when I start up in the morning the
Coolant Temp Warning Light comes on, the temp gauge still hasn't moved
but the light is still on.
Does anyone have any ideas why this might happen, I always thought the

Hi, does anyone know how to reset the ISC sensor - or whatever it is that
controls the idle speed? Where is it located, on the throttle body
somewhere?

I have a 1989 EA Falcon with a 3spd auto transmission.  The trans has been
leaking recently out of the sump and I noticed that all the sump bolts were
very loose.  I have tightened all of these up slightly and it seems to have
stopped the leaks.

Hello, does anyone know the difference between the Falcon, and the Falcon GL
van? Does the GL have a tailgate instead of 2 doors, and also have buckets?
What other extras did the GL have?

Was hoping someone might be able to help me out here.  My EB Falcon stalls
regualry at lights.  It's be tuned up, had the fan belts replaced.  I have
also taken it to a Auto Sparky how has tested it for error codes.  No error

           Any help on whether or not 2 sets of springs on a escort top end
will help ?? Reading material and it says that having a set of reverse

I have an EB manual XR6 that was aquired second hand (and mis-treated - but
that's another story). My problem is that there is no air-con fitted to the
vehicle.

I took the head off my Falcon ('87 XF, 4.1 carburetted auto) this

Both the odometer and trip meter on my EB Falcon have stopped working. But
the speedo still works fine.
Is this a common problem?

          Just to let all you people who tried to help me with my
fairlane's Transmission,I dropped the Dextron oil and replaced it with
TQ 95 LE the transmission is changing gears a lot quicker and running

I was re commended to have a new tailshaft fitted at a cost of $600 by Titan
Ford in Melville, Perth. Ive been tracking down some vibrations over the
last year that occur at around 100kph and its been improving:

I was wondering if anyone knows if  a small batch of XR GTs were produced in
early 1968 fitted with 302's?
I've never read anything about XR's fitted with 302's but apparently there
was a small batch produced just before Ford switched to the XT.
