a simple saturday afternoon transmission service, turned into a pain in the
arse.
Repco brand transmission filter kit used, pan gasket supplied leaks in 3
places, should i of bought it genuine? I've done this many times before on

   I'm about to re-wire a 289 Windsor and was just wondering if anyone
would have a proper wiring diagram for it. I know it's pretty simple, but I
want to get it right cos the current loom is dodgy as!  An XR Falcon Manual
might have one??  This engine is actually in a Boat ...

Got an odd problem with my Falcon.  Its a 12 year old Futura Classic.
It will run for a while but then out of the blue it will start to lose
power (sometimes coming back) but then totally die on me.  Th guy from
the RACQ thought it was something to do with the computer.

I'm trying to remove the chrome trim that follows the roof line edge on
either side. This is the trim that is just above the top of the windows when
rolled up.  I see no fastenings and suspect a pinch type fit, but I'm afraid
I will destroy the trim if I try to pry it off.  Can ...

Had my AU1 serviced about two months ago, and ever since I've noticed a
coolant leak on my garage floor, stupid me I've waited too long to complain
about a poor service job.
I can't locate where the leak is coming from though.

I have a strange problem.
Prior to a front end prang my 94' NC Fairlane would over heat only
when towing a heavy trailer on a hot day.
After the accident and with a new radiator the car now runs too cool.

I have a problem with an XF falcon and I was wondering if anyone knows
how to extract the computer codes with a multimeter? I have a genuine
Ford workshop manual that says the codes can be extracted using a
multimeter but it does not say how.

I have an Ea Falcon the 3.9 litre engine.
It has quite a loud tapping noise that taps in time with the revs.

I've purchased new coolant tank for my Falcon EA 1989 as the old
one cracked and was leaking. There are two inlets to the tank: one
from the thermostat, and one from radiator. Is it normal that the
first one is blocked, which looks like factory seal (clear, not
