| No MAF on Focus 1.6? | 28 Feb 2004 22:10 GMT | 2 |
Hey, anyone know if the MAF was actually removed from the 1.6? I just saw a 2002 Ghia 1.6 with only a bridging tube where the MAF is supposed to be and no connector anywhere...At first I thought it was some kind of modification but wouldn't there be an error code registered and ...

| CD Changer | 28 Feb 2004 15:06 GMT | 3 |
I just bought a focus LX, 51 plate. It has a series 5000 cassette radio which has a CD mode button. According to the owners manual the changer would be located under the passenger seat if one was fitted. I was wondering if the cabling for the changer is pre-installed, there is a ...

Several times while driving the speedometer of my 2001 focus has spun back to zero, the radio volume drops, and the digital odometer goes blank. It's been to the shop twice and haven't been able to figure it out. Anyone experienced this or have any ideas? Thanks

I have an import Ford Focus 2002 series with a pre-2002 series owners manual and I am seriously scratching my head to a sore mess trying to work out how to change the bulbs, namely the main beam on the nearside.

| Scratching noise when turn steering wheel while driving | 28 Feb 2004 05:55 GMT | 6 |
I'm driving a 2001 Ford Focus LX. It was good until recently. While driving for a speed over 15 mph, when I turn the steering wheel a bit right, I can hear a slight scraching noise. Since the car just had 36500 miles, it's out of its bumper-to-bumper

| Rust on door at mirrors | 27 Feb 2004 19:51 GMT | 9 |
I have a 2002 Ford Focus, and was cleaning the usual winter salt off the car the other day when I noticed that the passenger side door had small bubbles in the paint, right where the mirror housing meets the door - definitely rusting.

| weird noise in the morning | 27 Feb 2004 09:50 GMT | 8 |
My '01 wagon started to make a funny noise in the morning when I start it in the morning. It is more like a screeching type noise and it only lasts 1 second when I crank it. The temperature these days in the morning is just below zero C. Last week was quite warmer but no noise

| RPMs drop when turning steering wheel at stop | 27 Feb 2004 09:47 GMT | 5 |
I can re-produce this problem every time. Has anyone seen this, can it be fixed as a 'do-it-yourself' kinda project? I have a year 2000 Ford Focus SE. If I put the car in park and turn the wheel just a little to the left or right, the RPMs drop and it

I have a 1.8 W plate focus. Intermitantly, the whole electrical system appears to cut out - lights radio etc. all go off for about a second and then all restore. When it restores, the dials - spedo, rev counter all go hard over before returning to their normal positions. The trip

| Rattling Noise from AC? | 26 Feb 2004 23:29 GMT | 3 |
Well, I decided to use the AC on my 2003 Focus ZX-5 (2.0 and auto) and I'm hearing this weird sort of rattling noise. The ac works fine and all, but I'm perplexed at the odd noise it's making. I don't use the AC often since I drive with the windows down most of the time. Does my ...
