04 ZX3-Comfort, 5-speed, 2.3, ABS & Side Air Bags. USA. After 1400 miles, runs and rides great. Noticed yesterday after a 100 mile trip and again today after a 25 mile trip that every so often I hear a very low level, quiet 3 chime sound like the sound an old Macintosh Computer

Does a 2001 Focus 2L have a chain or belt? I'm looking thru the maintenance schedule ( 60,000 miles)and see nothing about a belt change. I also see the plug change listed at 100K. TIA, Mark S

Well I've had the pollen filter leak (Twice) now I find puddles in the centre console and the CD player....Found headlining around interior light very wet. Suspect the leak is around the aeriel mounting..no sunroof and no roof bars...Focus estate 2001 vintage...will be on to dealer ...

My rear tires are worn (inside only) to the belts at just under 30,000 mi. I have always thought it looked like there was too much negative camber and I think this proves it. In researching the problem I found that Ford issued TSB 03-13-05 about 6 mos ago which describes the problem ...

On a US Focus that is in MPH, if you install a VSS (vehicule speed sensor) from a focus that is in Km PH, with it fool the computer to read in Km PH and limit the speed to about 170 MPH instead of 170 KmPH If somebody knows ????

My remote key (focus ghia 1999) has lost the "click" on its door locking button so I cannot lock the car via the remote - though I can manually. The button to unlock the doors and the one to unlock the boot still continue to work fine.
