2000 Ford Focus. It has AC. Everytime we start the car, the Air Conditioner
comes on. No matter what the setting of the thermostat controls, it comes
on.
Is there a way to turn this very annoying thing off???

I've heard mixed reports about the new RS Ford Focus does anyone rate

My 2000 focus has had few problems thus far, but yesterday, after sitting
for about 6-7 hours, it wouldn't start. I first thought it was a battery
problem. I had someone give me a jumpstart and I drove it for about 20
miles. During this ride, the radio would cut off and right back ...

Focus 2000 Ghia, very annoying creaking sound when depressing clutch pedal.
Any of you guys out there have any ideas how to cure.
Tried tightening all mounting bolts and removing pedal spindle and greasing
but its still there.

My wife just bought a 2001 Focus with 8600 miles that is in great
shape. How can I found out if the car is equipped with anti-lock
brakes? Is there somewhere under the hood I can look for the modulator
thingy? Or is there a number or letter in the VIN that would tell me?

disconnected the wiring plug from the fan housing to check voltages. While
disconnected, both wires indicated 12 volts... This isn't right is it? I

Got the wheel off but the drums are not like my old Mondeo.
Do you have to take off the nut under the dome cap or should the drums
come off without.

From the back end of my Focus wagon, something is thumping around. I believe
I've isolated it in the spare tire compartment. Several times I've pulled
everything out and carefully repacked it - with strips of foam to keep the
jack and tire secure and quiet. Still, the noise persists ...

I bought my 2002 Focus used from a dealer who purchased it at auction.  I
didn't notice until a couple of days ago that it didn't come with an owner's
manual when I bought it.  Where could I purchase a copy of the owner's
manual?  Ford Dealer?

My 2001 Focus wagon has blown the light switch fuse 2 times in a row
resulting in no dash or tailights. Does anyone know the cause or cure. I
don't know if I dare put in a 15 amp fuse instead of the 10 amp original.
But i am leaning in that direction

Any suggestions on improving performance / fuel consumption, perhaps

Does anyone know the lifespan of diesel fuel? I have approx 50 litres of
Shell Diesel in my garage but it is over 2 years old. Does this fuel
deteriorate or harm a diesel engine in any  way?
