on.

2000 SE electrical failure14 Apr 2004 16:57 GMT3
My 2000 focus has had few problems thus far, but yesterday, after sitting
for about 6-7 hours, it wouldn't start. I first thought it was a battery
problem. I had someone give me a jumpstart and I drove it for about 20
miles. During this ride, the radio would cut off and right back ...

How can I tell if a 2001 Focus has ABS?12 Apr 2004 23:02 GMT9
My wife just bought a 2001 Focus with 8600 miles that is in great
shape. How can I found out if the car is equipped with anti-lock
brakes? Is there somewhere under the hood I can look for the modulator
thingy? Or is there a number or letter in the VIN that would tell me?

Blower fan and A/C not working12 Apr 2004 18:25 GMT6
2001 Focus SE. I just bought this car. The Blower fan doesn't work. I
disconnected the wiring plug from the fan housing to check voltages. While
disconnected, both wires indicated 12 volts... This isn't right is it? I
was expecting one hot wire and a neutral/ground wire. I also ...
Programming A New Key12 Apr 2004 17:36 GMT5
I just bought a 2002 Focus SE with 17,500 miles on it. No complaints so
far, seems like a great car. The only problem is that it only came with
one key. I can buy a spare key on eBay , but the manual says that I need
to already have two keys to program the new transponder, if I ...
Removing rear brake drums. How?12 Apr 2004 08:27 GMT7
Need to check the rear shoes on a Zetec 1.6
Got the wheel off but the drums are not like my old Mondeo.
Do you have to take off the nut under the dome cap or should the drums
come off without.
Something is Making Noise12 Apr 2004 01:03 GMT16
From the back end of my Focus wagon, something is thumping around. I believe
I've isolated it in the spare tire compartment. Several times I've pulled
everything out and carefully repacked it - with strips of foam to keep the
jack and tire secure and quiet. Still, the noise persists ...
Where To Buy A Manual?10 Apr 2004 00:08 GMT10
I bought my 2002 Focus used from a dealer who purchased it at auction.  I
didn't notice until a couple of days ago that it didn't come with an owner's
manual when I bought it.  Where could I purchase a copy of the owner's
manual?  Ford Dealer?
Light switch fuse09 Apr 2004 23:43 GMT3
My 2001 Focus wagon has blown the light switch fuse 2 times in a row
resulting in no dash or tailights. Does anyone know the cause or cure. I
don't know if I dare put in a 15 amp fuse instead of the 10 amp original.
But i am leaning in that direction
