I am looking at buying a used Focus for a new driver in the household. We are looking at the 2003's and 2004's. Are they basically the same?? With having seen many discussions on recalls in 2001 and 2002, was 2003 a lot better and is 2004 even more so in that regard?

Focus Newsgroup, Has anyone had a problem with a door lock that cycles from lock to unlock? The driver's side rear door locks and then immediately unlocks (cycles) when attempting to lock the doors from either the remote or console. The other 3

My daughters Focus appears to be low on freon. Where is the low side A/C connector? I found the high side by the radiator but the only valve I can find on the low side is a small plastic device that looks like a new way to disable the "shade tree" mechanic from doing it yourself...

Can DOT 5 brake fluid be used in a Focus with ABS? Does all of the old dot 4 fluid have to be flushed out first? Gary

I lease my 2003 Focus SE does any one know how to either turn off the odometer or adjust it so the kilometers aren't very high at the end of my lease Note I am not a mechanic so it has to be very easy to do
