2000 Focus dash lights, dash gauges, and trans goes crazy08 Nov 2004 17:20 GMT6
All the dash lights go on, the gauges go to max and then dash lights go off
and gauges go dead.  Then back to normal.  Durning this the transmission
(automatic) is prone to go in and out of gear.  I have had the dealer
replace the alternator but it is happening again one month later ...

Ugly as sin, as Top Gear agree, but still the best in its class...
Not only is it more refined, comfortable and civilised than before, it's

My Wife and I have a 2001 Focus se Station wagon .   We just returned from a
Vacation  trip,  From Vancouver B.C.  to San Fransisco, then to Reno, Salt
Lake City, and back to Vancouver .  Most of the driving was at speeds
between 60 - 75 MPH

Ford dealer wants about one hundred dollars for a computerized key for my
Focus 2000, zx3.
Can you recommend any company that can make me a key for less in Los Angeles

I was about to buy a Matrix from Toyota as I need a car that will last at
least 100 thousand miles. I was told to look at a foucus. Can they do this

Can anyone tell me if disconnecting the battery could affect the
speedometer calibration: is reprogramming/recalibration of the speedometer
usually needed after battery disconnection?  Thanks

I bought a 01 Sedan DX last summer and since i bought it I have never heard
any warning bells or chimes that come on if you leave the lights on with
the engine off.
Anyone know if this model is supposed to have any warning chimes and if so,
