What voltage/current should my 1999 X reg 1.8 petrol Zetec focus be in
the region of ? I would like to check myself before helfords (or
similar) charge me for something I do not need.

I bought a second hand 1999 Focus estate (1.6) and for the first year I
never topped up the oil level once: engine had done about 40K and I do
about 6K per year.

hello, I just purchased an 04 zts - 2.3l manual trans car and there is no
tach. it has the standard cluster. the owners manual seems to indicate that
there is a certain cluster with tach for the 2.3 cars. was it optional?
seems strange to me. thanks greg

Anyone have problems with their radio just suddenly turning off? Mine will
blink a couple of times and then just turn off. When I push the removable
panel it turns back on and is fine.
Any suggestions as to how I can remedy the problem?

Hi, in March I'm hopefully receiving the zetec as above with aluminum
finish. The engine is 1.6 Duratech Ti-VCT 115ps as they don't do a 1.8
with the new range. What is the difference between the two 1.6 engines
on the new ford focus.
