THROBBING brake pedal20 Mar 2005 04:40 GMT13
My 2000 Focus brake pedal pulsates VERY badly when applied. At 140
thousand miles, we've had the front disc pads replaced a couple of
times, and the rears (shoes?) once.
I have to get this done quickly, so I'm taking parts to my mechanic,

Steering responsiveness11 Mar 2005 13:57 GMT9
I find the steering on my 1999 focus estate a litle too
responsive/sensitive to the road surface.  (I drive a lot on roads with an
uneven surface, camber etc).  I'm not suggesting it is a fault: just a
feature of the car.

CMax Model comparison10 Mar 2005 22:29 GMT2
I'm seriously considering buying a UK spec Focus Cmax 1.6TDCi. I'm trying to
decide whether to get the LX or the Zetec model.
I am buying for the long term. I tend to keep cars for 10-15 years and do
all my own servicing. I am therefore wanting to avoid gimmicky gadgets that

Really looking for help on replacing the radio . . . .07 Mar 2005 00:09 GMT4
in my car - a 2001 ZX3.
I thought I read in this forum that you need special tools to do this.  Has
anyone on this forum changed the radio in their Focus?  If so, how hard was
it and do I need special tools?
re New rear bumper for hatchback05 Mar 2005 21:32 GMT2
Someone hit me up the rear and the bumper is split in about 3 places.
It looks fairly easy to take the whole thing off and replace.
Any clue how much a new one is in the U.K and is it that easy ?.
Cheers

ford focus heater fault03 Mar 2005 22:14 GMT4
We have recently bought a 5 year old Focus and it has just developed a
fault with the heater. It only works on number 3. Does anyone have any
idea what may have caused the fault and whether it might be easier to
fix?
Ford Protect Classic warranty02 Mar 2005 23:45 GMT2
I bought a Focus a while ago and obviously it comes with a 1 year warranty.
I'd like to extend it to the free 3 year warranty so I've looked on the Ford
website and I can download an application form but it only seems to be for
enhancements to the 3 year plan, rather than ...
