radio reception05 Apr 2005 15:12 GMT2
My 2000 Focus gets very poor AM radio reception, also static whenever I
apply the brakes. Was told it might be a faulty antenna.
Anyone else have this problem?

Ford good for big and tall people?05 Apr 2005 13:25 GMT8
I read a post on here that someone who was "big and tall" had no
problems fitting comfortably in a Focus.  But that begs the question,
"how big and tall?"
I'm 6'4" and 270 lbs, would I fit into one?  I would love to get into a
2003 focus are gas guzzlers05 Apr 2005 05:48 GMT48
I have a 2003 ZTW 2.0 zetec automatic and I can't do better than 20mpg
I do mostly highway driving
in the winter I do a mere 17 mpg
some of you claim 30mpg with manual transmission.
European tyre load codes04 Apr 2005 23:59 GMT1
My 2 litre Focus Estate from 2000 was equipped with 195/60 R15 88V Michelin
Energy tyres when new.
88V means the tyres are specified for 240 km/h. Could I use 88H tyres as an
alternative, they are specified for max 210 km/h and the car would hardly do
Extended warranty and auto-locking you out.04 Apr 2005 02:49 GMT21
The Big Muddy's launch of his new site again piqued my interest in getting
the extended warranty for my 2002 Ford Focus.  This is essentially a math
question.  You give up upwards of $1200 up front and hope that it pays off
in terms of saved repair costs.  I do intend to keep my ...
'05 ZXW SE comments?04 Apr 2005 02:15 GMT2
I'm thinking about getting an '05 Focus ZXW SE wagon.
I've had an '86 Saab 900 hatchback since new and loved it.
But it's nearing its last miles and I like hatches/wagons.
New Saabs are too expensive and GM ruined the model.
lack of power03 Apr 2005 15:24 GMT1
'00 Focus 1,6l Zetec lacks power under load. Idle and any constant rpm is
just fine. Reving or any load and engine hesitates and will not pull. 1.gear
feels like 3rd.
I guess this problem is related to fuel delivery. Any thoughts?
