Hi Guys, I know this is a Focus newsgroup, but I can't find a Puma site so hope someone can help me. My daughter has a '99 1.7 Puma that she lent to me (her Dad) a couple of days ago. Sods law demanded that it packed up whilst in my charge LOL.

can you help please? Thinking about buying '04 reg focus but wanted to know is it possible to deactivate airbag on passenger side to allow child seats in front? Does a switch come fitted or can I get one installed at a dealer?

I just drove home from a long trip this weekend. I noticed a "crackling" sound coming from the driver's side of the engine (compartment) over 65 mph. Is this normal in the 2000 Ford Focus SE. It's a stick shift incase that matters.

I've currently got a 2003 TDCI Focus Zetec and am toying with the idea of getting a CMax, probably the TDCI. The only thing that puts me off is that a couple of folk have told me that the handling is a bit suspect in high winds.
