| Alarm System | 09 Aug 2005 08:16 GMT | 2 |
Thanks for your advice regarding the Focus Flight. I actually figured that out before receiving an answer. I've ended up with a Ford Focus 1.6 Chic which I'm so far quite pleased with! I'm just now wondering if you have any recommendations for an alarm system

| Focus (02 reg) - speedometer/electrics | 07 Aug 2005 22:51 GMT | 3 |
I've just bought a used Focus Zetec 1.8 (first reg July 2002). All is well, except that sometimes the speedometer goes crazy (it swings between about 60 and 130 when actually I'm only driving 15mph in traffic!). At the same time the radio volumes suddenly increases - it's

| Broken ignition | 07 Aug 2005 22:39 GMT | 7 |
The key won't turn in the ignition of my 2002 ZX5. I'm bringing it to the dealer tomorrow who says that it is an uncommon issue. I see a lot of postings here regarding this "uncommon" issue. Who has had a similar problem?

| Some wheel and tire questions | 06 Aug 2005 01:55 GMT | 4 |
I have a 2004 ZX5 Premium. ONe of the aluminum rims is slightly bent, not enough to loose air but enough so I get some thumppin/rumbling road noise. A couple of the local tire shops have said the can acutally fix the rim and charge $50 which is much better than $200 for a new wheel.

| Hesitating/stalling/jerking HELP! | 05 Aug 2005 22:45 GMT | 4 |
Yes, it's a 2000 Focus LE with 59K miles and a FULL "CarFax" report showing no problems. Bought a month ago from a used dealer after a test drive. I'm a moron; so I took two people who "know" cars along to help make the purchase. They

| 2005 zx3: clunking sound? | 05 Aug 2005 02:37 GMT | 3 |
I just bought a rather stripped-down 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 - all it's got is AC in the way of extras. It currently has about 700 miles on it. Over the last week or so, I've been noticing a kind of clunking sound coming from the left rear corner of the vehicle when I'm driving,

| Wiper problem | 05 Aug 2005 00:14 GMT | 6 |
Hope someone can help...A friend just purchased a used 2003 focus, if she presses the button for a "one time wipe" of the wiper blades, the blades will stop at the point where they are pointing straight up (1/2 cycle) unless she holds the "one time wipe" button on thru the whole ...

| focus | 04 Aug 2005 20:58 GMT | 3 |
I would never buy another Focus. The mileage is about 2/3 of that it was "supposed" to be. The Taurus I just used gets better mileage. The Focus is so light that passing traffic will make it sway. When a passenger moves, the car rocks. When I got my most recent insurance

| Stiff door handle! | 04 Aug 2005 15:05 GMT | 3 |
Anyone got any suggestions as to the best way to go about lubricating a stiff door handle on a 2002 model UK Focus? Namely what's the best stuff to use and do I have to take it apart, etc? WD40 springs to mind, but I faintly recall reading somewhere that this may not be a good ...

| 2003 focus clutch | 03 Aug 2005 13:01 GMT | 2 |
Today I was told by the dealer that under no circumstances is the clutch covered under the car's warranty. the expected life span of a clutch not withstanding. the assumption on the part of the dealer is that the driver has been doing doughnuts, hotrodding or other things to ...

| 2003 focus clutch | 02 Aug 2005 16:57 GMT | 1 |
my car only has 25,000 miles on it. I knew my clutch was a goner when the engine would race when pressing the accelerator pedal. After the local dealer postponed my coming in for service, my car would not move when I tried to start it. Then when I pressed the clutch pedal,
