new CVT transmission in Focus17 Feb 2006 04:32 GMT2
Looking for a diesel car and saw on the Ford's web page that Focus fitted

(knock on wood!). I know that the tranny in my wagon is made ...
my new struts are rattling!17 Feb 2006 04:22 GMT6
I just paid over $500 at Midas to have my 2000 ZX3 struts replaced at
65K miles.  They do not rattle for the first 15 minutes of driving, but
after the car is warmed up, my front end rattles over bumps and other
road irregularities.  I can even feel it in the steering wheel.  It

the result, (2l Zetec DOHC engine), had expected something
better. Usually get 25-27mpg (8.5-9.5 l/100km) without that much

Jumping Speedo11 Feb 2006 08:56 GMT1
Am having the weirdest problem with an 02 Ford Focus 1.6L Zetec - at
random times and random speeds the speedo starts jumping up and down
for a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes and in fact does not
stop until the car's engine has been switched off or is idling,
Missing under a load09 Feb 2006 20:47 GMT4
My 2000 focus zx3 standard started missing when I would first take off or
right after I would shift gears (under a load).  It acts like the electrical
system is shutting it down.   At first I thought it was the throttle position
sensor because it would act up (stumble) when I would ...

Just recently my 2002 1.8 focus has started growling from underneath when in

gearbox?. All sound expensive which should i start on first. Many thanks in
advance.
