when i turn the steering on my focus 1400 03 model, the engine loses power
and sputters, has anyone got any ideas what it could be

My left rear drum is leaking all the break fluid. I'm trying to remove the
drum, but the 1 of the 4 bolts on the back is torqued on to where it's not
easy to remove, and the last one of the 4 hub nuts does not want to come off
as well... I'm at a stand still... Anyone have an idea?

I want to check the brake shoes of a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3. Is there any
special removal instructions for the drum following the removal of the
wheel? Will the drum just slide of or is there an internal release required?

Ive recently bought a V reg 1800 Focus, when i start the engine the battery
light comes on after about 30 seconds and stays on, i've changed the

I've been hearing a "whistle" from my '06 wagon that rises and falls with
the engine RPMs. After ruling out anything under the hood, I'm pretty
positive that it is the tachometer. Is this driven by a cable or is it
entirely electronic??

Hi there. From looking at previous posts I think I have the "coil pack"
problem. This evening on a 60 mile round trip, the engine warning light
started flashing and the engine started to run rough. I nursed the car home
with the problem increasing in intensity.

Just bought a used 2001 Focus 1.8 TDCi.  Noticed diesel smell and smoke from
engine compartment.  On inspection, I find diesel leaking from around the
base of the injector where it goes into the block.  How does injector
assembly seal to the block ?

Well it appears as though my car needs its PCM replaced.  This is just
the start.  With absolutely no warning at all, the computer dies??
They are quoting me $754 at a minimum, because they are not sure if
something else will be reported once they can actually get it hooked up
