Changing the headlamp bulb13 Mar 2006 23:54 GMT16
OK call me a dummy.  I can't figure out how to change the bulb in my '04
Focus ZX5.
I've got a burn out and I want to replace the bulb.  There is the bulb
holder and a wire that holds the bulb in place.  The problem is, I can't
Brake Dust Covers13 Mar 2006 22:43 GMT1
Do brake dust covers bring up any issues of reduced cooling for the
brakes?  For that matter, do they actually make a significant difference
for Dusty Wheel Syndrome, or are they just another basically useless

I replaced the pollen filter on my 2004 Focus 1.6 LX recently at 40,000
miles.  I went to my local Ford dealer and asked for a new filter and
sealing strip - this turned out to be a length of self-adhesive foam
plastic.
Focus Electrical Problems07 Mar 2006 22:39 GMT8
I bought a used Focus, 2001, in early January. Three days after I
purchased it, it started to die due to electrical problems.
Initially, I noticed just a split-second flicker of gauges going
haywire -- the speedometer and temp gauge would max out, the fuel gauge

Replacing Focus Battery and ECU01 Mar 2006 19:27 GMT3
Just rep[l;aced battery, local ford dealer sold me a universal one, not
the original, and the flippin battery strap I just bought (so and so's
said I had to but belt and bracket and bolt for £11) is too long for the
generic battery (even the shorter white one...)
