Paint on 2001 Focus showing wear12 Apr 2006 00:31 GMT1
I have a 2001 dark gray Focus. There are a few spots on the roof where
the paint has worn away down to sheet metal. Granted I do live in

I got a 1998 Focus 1.8 Zetec, 5dr, it’s a great car – only done 38K so far.
The car is lately very unstable, especially on the motor ways (doing 60+).
It feels as if the tail is breaking away. I took the car to get the shocks
tested – all good, check the bushes and suspension – no ...

sporadic engine cut off08 Apr 2006 04:15 GMT6
Yesterday, while driving on the highway, the engine suddenly cut off and
restarted - just a hiccup. During this spit second, the RPMs fell to zero
and all the warning lights came up briefly, chimes and bells, then went off
as if nothing happened.

brake lights04 Apr 2006 05:47 GMT13
Just noticed today thanks to a very rude park ranger that my car's two
rear brake lights are not working, yet the small, middle light mounted
in the trunk hatch is lighting fine when I apply the brakes.
I stop to buy some bulbs on the way home thinking the whole time how

mpg with the same usage.
Thanks
2002 Ford Focus: how to replace the front wheel bolts (lug bolts)04 Apr 2006 03:53 GMT1
The last time I had new tires put on my vehicle, it appears that the
tire shop damaged one of my front wheel bolts (lugs), and I'm going to
try and replace all four of them on my front wheel.
I checked my repair manuals, and even the factory manual, but I cannot
