Yesterday (03/25/06) I had the battery replaced in my 2001 Ford Focus
Wagon (109,000 miles). As I was driving home I noticed that the cruise
control would not even turn on. Also, unless the A/C is running, the
car will not idle properly and may stall.

Focus 16 i ,  5  years old.
We fixed the speed control sensor thingy ....65 quid supply and fitted.
Now we have a different problem....
the central locking keeps locking the doors !

can one replace the original turn signal flasher with one that is less
noisy?
if so, where can you get a new flasher.

Is there anything subtle involved with changing the rear drums+bearings on
'52 red 1.8 TDCI Focus? i.e any quirks to be aware of (funny seals etc)
My LH rear wheel bearing is starting to sing after 70k, so I though I would

to check the valve lash and adjust it as possible but cannot find any
info on it.  Also, we cannot find a tappet to replace (the little bucket
thingie on the top of the valve has no place for one) nor find ...

What would it take to make a 2000 focus FFV capable, is it

I am trying to add a trip conputer to my Ford Focus 51 Ghia, I'd got
all the bits (so I thought) trip computer, dash surround, temperature
sensor, washer bottle level sensor.
I thought the wiring loom was standard and the trip computer connector

My wife wants to have the passenger airbag disabled in her Focus so
that she can put the rear facing baby seat in the front with her.
Just had it serviced so asked them to disable it. They said it could
not be done and would not offer a reason why.

Where is the ECU that emits the pulses for the injectors?
I am suffering a lot of noise on my Amateur radio set, it seems to be in
time with the injectors, so if I can find the bugger, I may be able to
suppress the interference..
