New to this group...looking at a 2002 Focus ZTW wagon...nicely maintained. But the heater blower chrips loudly at any speed. The owner mentioned it started doing that after blowing out some leaves from the air inlet area.

I pulled into garage and heard boing! Right front coil spring broke. Ford will repace both front springs under extended waranty if you have a 2000 focus from the right plant and a broken spring. Its a 10 year 150000 mile warranty. My car qualifies and will get both springs ...

I have a UK model Focus 3 Door Hatch. Its T reg 1.8 Zetec model. I have never known exactly what alarm system and security is has. Is there any easy way to find out? I cant see anything in the documents that i got when bought it a few years ago from private seller.

I just bought a 2006 Ford Focus ZXW SE to replace my againg and soon to be retired '98 Escort Wagon. All in all I am pretty pleased with the Focus Wagon. It is a much taller vehicle and it takes a bit of getting used to not having that sports car feeling, but I am getting used to

Anyone know what engine speed the turbo's supposed to kick in on the 2002 1.8 TDCi engine? Mine doesn't seem to be kicking in til 1800 or 1900rpm, which makes accelerating out of corners a real pain in the backside, and means that I'm forever shifting gear.

I have bought used Focus few weeks ago. Problem is that ventilation system constantly heats... Please if anyone can check if after driving a car for a while ventilation canals gets hot and luke warm/ hot air blows especially from lower ventilation openings.
