I have 2005 Focus S (NZ Model) which has a heated windscreen and I am
looking at purchasing a GPS system (transferable not inbuilt) and was
wondering whether the wires in the front screen will work as a cage and
affect the ability of the GPS system to sync with the satellites.

I have Ford Focus with 6000 CD audio. Under the advanced menu, I found
"BT" option, which can be on or off (off by default). I tried to change
it but without visible result.
Does anybody knows what is the purpose of this option?

I think my CD player only loads 1 CD.  However, to the right of the slot are 2
buttons marked with up and down arrows. What is the purpose of these buttons.
 Will my CD player load more than 1 CD after all?  I don't have the manual
for the radio/CD player.  Thanks.

I managed to get it started and it ran really lumpy and it was obvious
that the timimng was out! i realined the timed chains and the
associated belt and hey presto!!! Nothing.. it again refuses to start.

It seems my U.S. made 2000 focus  se wagon is just falling apart.
I get this loud air raid siren like noise from the engine compartment.  It
just comes and goes.  The car runs fine but the noise can be deafening to
say the least.

I would like to purchase a firmer driver's side seat. Something with more
lumbar support. Or maybe modify the existing seat in some way.  Any ideas?

On ignition my '99 focus dashboard dials  (speedo, revs, petrol gauge)
all fly up to max for a couple of seconds than drop back to normal.
This doesn't appear to cause any more problems and it has always
started but it is disconcerting and i guess the focus is trying to tell

I've got a 2000 ford Focus. I went to gas it up and as I was leaving the
car died it was slow to turn over and it started. it died again and then
started up after a while cranking the starter motor. it finally died and
now it won't start at all. Battery seems to be strong as it will ...

I am looking to buy a used Focus diesel 3/5d hatch between 1 and 4 years old
in the UK.  What model should I buy for reliability and economy and what
model should I NOT buy.  Are there any specific points I need to watch out
for when viewing the vehicle?
