The drivers door on my Y-reg focus has suddenly stopped working.
Using the key fob I can lock/unlock all the other doors, but theres no
noise from the drivers door. Manually using the key (sooo last
century) works, and also causes the other doors to lock/unlock.

I've been searching for a link for step by step instructions on how
to
replace the return spring on a 5 speed manual gear stick.
Can anyone offer any advice or point me in the right direction?

Well, my little guy decided the opening for the cd player was a good
place to store coins. Is it possible to pull and open the unit to
remove the coins myself?

We just bought a used 2001 Ford Focus with 65K miles. The igniotion switch
started to give us problems and after researching the problem I found out
that ignition cylinder failure was very common on theses cars so I replaced
the cylinder.

I want a Focus that will go from 0-60 in less than seven seconds.  I
was wondering, how big of an engine would I need to get that and could
I get Ford to do it for me under these 'build your own' things?  Would
this be expensive?
