Drivers power locking stopped working.29 Mar 2007 21:01 GMT5
The drivers door on my Y-reg focus has suddenly stopped working.
Using the key fob I can lock/unlock all the other doors, but theres no
noise from the drivers door. Manually using the key (sooo last
century) works, and also causes the other doors to lock/unlock.

Well, my little guy decided the opening for the cd player was a good
place to store coins. Is it possible to pull and open the unit to
remove the coins myself?

I have a 2005 Focus TDCi 115 Zetec Climate that I have owned from new. It

I have noticed recently in this cold snap it does not start instantly, even

Using Biodiesel in Focus Tdci duratorq 11525 Mar 2007 08:48 GMT4
Is it wrong to use biodiesel in my Focus?its on a 54 plate-I have
already filled it up in the past (its only 70p a litre) I just noticed
that the fuel economy was slightly less-but that was it.
The 5% Ford recommend seems to be pointless-does it "harm" the engine
RF key battery change24 Mar 2007 22:23 GMT3
I have just changed the batter in the key fob, as per instructions in
the manual but it wont work.
Is there something else I can do.
I guess the electronics in the key fob could be faulty...
Options for radio24 Mar 2007 20:54 GMT5
I'd like to get the steering column radio controls working in my S-reg
1.6LX. The radio in it is a 3000 Traffic. I don't believe that it is
the original radio. The remote controls are present on the steering
column but they do nothing.

Does anyone know the trick which switches the remote locking to

Ford Focus Locking Steering Column - 200119 Mar 2007 13:45 GMT4
We just bought a used 2001 Ford Focus with 65K miles. The igniotion switch
started to give us problems and after researching the problem I found out
that ignition cylinder failure was very common on theses cars so I replaced
the cylinder.
Putting in a bigger engine16 Mar 2007 17:49 GMT10
I want a Focus that will go from 0-60 in less than seven seconds.  I
was wondering, how big of an engine would I need to get that and could
I get Ford to do it for me under these 'build your own' things?  Would
this be expensive?
