anyone know if I need any special tools such as spring compressor to change both
front struts? I think the one on the right is dead.

I just bought a 2006 ZX3 se the other day and I went to get the car
inspected for emissions.  The technician told me that he kept getting
"No Data" feedback and told me to go to the Ford dealership. A friend of
a friend of mine is a mechanic for a Ford dealership and he told my

2003 Ford Focus SE Wagon, Auto, 69000 miles.
Last Saturday while driving ~65mph, I felt a thump and
then I lost drivetrain power in "Drive".
It seemed as if trans just shifted to neutral.

My 2001 focus with a 2.0L 5spd zetec suddenly quit idling.
When you try to start the car you have to give it a little gas or it
won't start. Once it is running it runs fine, but if you take your foot
off of the gas it will stall. Any ideas ?

I have a PS pump that has a leaking seal. I thought I heard somewhere
that Ford extended the warranty on the pump to 60K. Wishful thinking?

I have some stone chips on my 2 year old focus - right through to the shiny
metal underneath.
Is this likely to be covered on warranty?  I bought car second hand, so
don't have the documents to read.

Whats up guys. My G/F just said that her battery ligh came on and that
her power steering got all tight while she was driving also her a/c
stop blowing cold air .....I have no idea what that could be...Can
anyone help me?

Tried both Bosch and Puralator from two parts dealers, both were too big for
the plastic grid cover to fit over them. However a Fram CA8205 fit perfect
with only removing some rubber gasket to reduce the height. Its dimentions
were:

I anticipate that eventually I will want to replace the factory speakers in
the front doors of my 2007 Focus with the regular 6 disk changer system.
The stock speakers have boomy bass, brittle highs and a big hole in the
midrange.  I don't know what size they are or what aftermarket ...

It's not mentioned in the Owner's Guide but is mentioned as a
possibility in the Maintenance Guide.

My used Focus came without the rubber cupholder inserts. I checked my
daughter's Focus and she has right hand left hand cupholders that do fit
my car. I could take them to the Ford dealer and have them order a set
but like to save by buying online. But I'm decipher the numbering ...

I have a 2002 SE that the CD player works fine, but the radio stations do
not work any more.  I pulled the radio out and checked to see that the
antennae was till connected, but still nothing.  Is there another connection
that I should be checking or is the radio toast?  Thanks ...
