Is it generally a good idea to disengage the overdrive (which is on by default) in my 2004 Focus when doing city driving (lots of stopping/ starting, hills, etc.). It seems to make sense but then I wonder whether it is good for the transmission to be regularly disengaging

I have the 1997 ford escort with the split port induction 2000 engine. The A/C clutch engages and disengages while A/C is on in a 3 or 4 second cycle. It's been doing this for several years and makes the car feel like it's surging. I changed the CCRM last year thinking

ZTS stock size is 205-50-16 has anyone installed 205-55-16 ? besides more selection in 55 series and better pricing any difference in ride or tire wear?

I can flip up the back seat and release the seat backs from the trunk to get them to flip down, but there is a cable that goes somewhere and makes it seem like there is a lever in the car somewhere to let them down. Is it that green plastic thing by the trunk release or is it ...
