I have a bizarre problem with the tailgate lock on my (new) Focus ST3. The problem is that the garage (dealer) can't fix it. They can't even get the problem to repro. This is _seriously_ intermittent. The problem is that every so often, the tailgate won't open at all.

ford focus 1.8 zetec S reg. Im a lady driver and wen I pull on the handbrake nothing happens. The local fitter said it'll cost 70 quid labour + parts. Can my hubby fix it ? Where if he could, would we get the parts ?

I'm looking to buy one of two SE sedans, auto tranny, either a 2001 or 2002, from local dealers. Both are high mileage with 100K miles on the 2001 and 90K on the 2002. Both appear in good condition for the age. I'm not too familar with the Focus other than it gets good reviews ...

i have an S reg focus ghia, it keeps over revving especially when cold, mosly when stationary ie at traffic lights, turning or sometimes braking in low gear. out of gear and feet off all pedals it can race up to 3000 then back down again!!!
