Window switch problem26 Oct 2007 15:04 GMT3
I have a ford focus 1.6 Zetec 2003 and have a problem with it. The wires
running to the switch on the driver's door which operate the windows don't
seem to be carrying any power to the switch. I replaced the switch with a
new one, but the problem's the same...'nothing doing, ...
new focus, sat nav problems25 Oct 2007 20:25 GMT2
I have a new Focus which has a 'solar-reflect' windscreen, also
'quick-clear' heated windscreen. I am thinking of getting a sat nav unit
(Tom-tom or Garmin) but I read that there may be a problem receiving the GPS
signals through the widscreen. Is this true ?

seat belt stuck in door22 Oct 2007 23:07 GMT3
Does anybody have any thoughts on this?  Somehow the seatbelt (not the
buckle) got stuck in the corner of the passenger door of my son's 2001
ZX3, and he can't get the door open to get it out.  The door is stuck
solid on the "first latch" or whatever you call it, so it's partly
Wheel nut direction.21 Oct 2007 21:17 GMT1
Does anyone know the direction of the wheel nuts on a Focus? I cant

Cooling fan on all time18 Oct 2007 22:20 GMT4
I have a 52 reg 1.6 focus.
I have just noticed that the cooling fans come on as soon as I start from
cold, and stay on until I switch off the engine. I thought maybe one or both
the relays had stuck on, but I've checked them with a meter and that is not
Rear Wheel Bearings replace18 Oct 2007 22:12 GMT5
I have found a source on the internet that will supply the rear drums
with the whell bearings attached.  Is all that is required is to take
the assembly and attach with the four bolts in back of the wheel?
I can't get the vendor on the phone to ask him the question.

Drive shaft18 Oct 2007 22:06 GMT3
The clutch failed on my daughter's Focus at 72K.
It was replaced but now the car has a steering wobble. The garage says a
drive shaft has failed.
Do the shafts have to be removed to change the clutch and could the garage
flaking paint and rust under front splash guards17 Oct 2007 18:04 GMT2
I took off the front splash guards and all the paint was flaking right
at the edge of the rocker-panel.
Any way to get ford to fix this under the rust warranty?

eratic speedo17 Oct 2007 08:31 GMT4
My speedo intermittently flies up to and past the 100mph mark and back
again. This would be liveable apart from the fact that the radio
volume goes up and down with it. Is this just a case of replacing the
speed sensor?
