| One door won't look via central locking | 30 Mar 2008 19:23 GMT | 3 |
I recently bought a 2nd hand Focus, X Reg Ghia. There's a few niggles with it, but nothing I can't fix except the rear offside door won't lock when using the central locking. I can manually lock it from the inside, but if I use the central locking only 3 doors and the

Hi there (first time poster) Got a Ford Focus LX 1.6 (UK model), first registered in 2000. The remote fob is basically refusing to work properly and needs replacing (before you ask, I have tried replacing the battery and reprogramming it. It worked for a

| airbag light | 24 Mar 2008 09:21 GMT | 4 |
My light just came on, no wreck or anything I can think of. What parts could be involved? What would a dealer charge to diagnose the problem? This is a high milage car, 175,000 miles, I'm wondering if it might be a wiring problem. I have a shop manual cd, I can read and follow a ...

Lately, I've been having a problem with the cooling system on my car that has both me and the dealer at a loss for an explanation. The car is a 2001 (North American market) Focus ZTS. It has the 2.0L Zetec engine and automatic transaxle. When I drive around town, the temperature

| Wheel nuts | 10 Mar 2008 13:47 GMT | 1 |
I have a 52 plate 1.6 Focus. I have had it a year and so far have not needed to take any of the wheels off. Today I noticed one of the wheel nuts looked different. On closer inspection it appears the nuts have a cover on the end, and one of the covers is missing. I checked the ...

| Ford Focus Mk 1 or Mk 2? | 05 Mar 2008 14:18 GMT | 7 |
Yes, it's me again asking more questions about which car to get! Having pretty much settled on getting a used Ford Focus (probably petrol due to my (irrational?) fear of dual mass flywheels!), we've noticed that occasionally we'll see a Mk2 Focus pop up in our searches.
