Fuel economy27 Apr 2008 15:51 GMT5
I've just bought my first Jocus, I'm very happy with it apart from the
fuel consumption. It's a 1.6 Zetec Climate, I don't drive it hard but I
only get 28mpg around town. For a modern engine this is rubbish - my son
has a 1.6 Peogeot diesel 206, he gets 45 mpg on the same sort of ...

Thunk thunk when turning25 Apr 2008 21:27 GMT5
Not sure what I got into, I don't recall any big potholes, but today just
out of the blue the car started making noise when i'd turn, almost sounded
like a tool rolling around up there.

Driver's side window 200123 Apr 2008 22:03 GMT1
Anyone here ever repair the window on the driver's side?
I had mine quit working.  I found some broken pieces of plastic in the
bottom of the door.  Motor still works.
Is this worth messing with or should it go to a shop?
Temperature22 Apr 2008 16:04 GMT3
It's suddenly a lot warmer in Chicago (31 shootings over the weekend). I was
driving my 2000 Focus Friday night in a what would be considered a pretty bad
neighorhood to go to a co-workers family members wake when the Focus
temperature went nearly into the red (it stayed within ...

An update on the unusual engine problem I've been having with my 2.0

About this time last year the car developed an intermittent problem when
the engine was started within 15-30 minutes of having been shut down ...

Oil question12 Apr 2008 02:28 GMT4
I have just purchased a one-year-old Focus 1.6 TDCi.  I was assured it had
had an oil change, but on checking the dipstick, I noticed that the oil was
black. I have been told by the dealer that this is normal with diesels; can
anyone comment on this?

How long can I expect this little gem to keep going?
I have always done well with Fords <Escort, Tempo, Mustang, and now
Focus> getting 150,000 miles easy.
Any options for outside temperature display?07 Apr 2008 07:05 GMT4
I'm planning on getting a 2008 Focus.  It has everything I want and more,
except for an outside temperature display.  I believe it has an inside
temperature display.  I've seen some after market thermometers, and was
wondering how well they worked.  Does anyone know if Ford offers a
