Yesterday I had a strange problem with my 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec. As I was accelerating out of a motorway service station to join the M3 the engine suddenly died. Dropped down to third gear and it seemed to pick up again so went on a bit. It died again and then picked up.

My 52 reg 1.8 TDCi Focus has been sat unused for a month while I've been on holiday. Having driven it today for the first time since, it seems the Aircon isnt working at all.

I own a 2000 Ford Focus SE wagon, It is hard on tires and winter driving on slippery or snowy roads the car is all over the place. I have had wheel alignments and does not seem to fix the problem. Is anyone else had this problem out there.
