Shoulda waited?21 Aug 2003 03:02 GMT2
When I bought my 02 GT last November, I asked the dealer about the
availability of the Mach1.  He said "No chance, there is a loooong line
for those cars".
I looked at the Cobra, and asked if they could knock off the dealer
88GT Convertible front window guide bushings, HELP!21 Aug 2003 01:29 GMT3
Both the driver and passenger side window guide bushings on my 88GT Vert are
shot.  I am able to 'wobble' my windows back and forth.  Per Late Model
Restoration supplies website (www.50resto.com) I ordered 4 new window guide
bushings (2 per side).  They claim their new plastic ...
Overheating?20 Aug 2003 23:29 GMT3
96 GT 'vert, no mods.  Temps here in Florida have been in the upper 80's/Low
90's.  On the temperature guage, should I normally be running in the upper part
of the "NORMAL" range?  I seem to be running between the "A" and the "L"....
I've also had to top off the radiator reservoir ...
Intake Manifold20 Aug 2003 22:21 GMT2
I called the local ford dealership & they say the cost of an intake manifold
is $250. Anybody know approximately how much labor is going to be charged?
Anybody had to do this before? Thanks in advance.

Bronze Distributor Gears revisted - Just for Winze20 Aug 2003 18:55 GMT5
Below is the reason why the bronze distributor gears are used. This came
directly from Summit's website. As I said before, Winze, it's cheaper to
change a worn distributor gear, than changing out the camshaft.

Waterless cleaners?20 Aug 2003 18:35 GMT5
My turn folks...
I FINALLY got my '64.5 back from the shop.  She looks great although I still
have minor interior work to do...  My question is: are the waterless cleaners
any good?  I'll spend 1.5 hours washing the car (sometimes before AND after) to
OT Computer stuff again20 Aug 2003 16:43 GMT4
Hi again,
Quick question for the "computer nerds" in the group.  (This is what my 5-year
old Son calls me, btw)
Am building a new PC from scratch.  Bought a new Maxtor 160g HD and am getting
Any 03 Cobras sold online anywhere ? <besides epay>20 Aug 2003 15:55 GMT1
well now that I am also feeling remorse after selling my 93 cobra, I am
wondering is there a place online that sells the new Stangs  ?    Vette
owners have online "Vette Superstores" but what about Stangs etc ?  You can
usually find them cheaper than the local dealers.
Console light fuse keeps blowing20 Aug 2003 14:47 GMT3
I have a '93 5.0 GT.  The other day I was driving at night and the console
lights and parking lights went out!  I checked the fuse and it was blown.
Replaced fuse and blew again a few minutes later.
I also noticed (before the fuse blows) that my battery indicator was almost

Replace brake light bulb 94 GT20 Aug 2003 07:16 GMT2
I give up. How do I access the rear brake light bulbs in my wife's 94 GT
convert?  Is it necessary to remove the entire rear light assembly?  Any
precautions for water leaks if this is the procedure?
Thanks
Anyone live near the I-15???20 Aug 2003 06:58 GMT7
I'll be travelling this road a lot in the coming weeks - going on that big
trip to Arizona (from Calgary, Alberta) me and the wife have been
planning...  What's the speed limit on the I-15?  Does it vary from state to
state?  How much will the police give you over the limit?
Question about older Mustang20 Aug 2003 05:00 GMT1
I saw an older Mustang (1970?) at a car
show on the weekend.  It said California
Special.  What was different about it?
